About the event

This course is designed for engagement professionals with little to no knowledge of AI. This is a two-part live online programme taking place on 14th July and 21st July 2026, 9.30am to 12.30pm. Registration includes attendance at both sessions.

The cost is £500 per person but a discount is offered for people working in the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.

By the end you will be able to:

  • Explain what AI is, how it works and why it behaves the way it does — in plain language you can actually use

  • Know the difference between the AI tools your organisation has approved and the ones you should think twice about

  • Understand your data protection responsibilities and what good governance looks like when AI is involved
