About the event
This course is designed for engagement professionals with little to no knowledge of AI. This is a two-part live online programme taking place on 14th July and 21st July 2026, 9.30am to 12.30pm. Registration includes attendance at both sessions.
The cost is £500 per person but a discount is offered for people working in the Voluntary, Community, and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector.
By the end you will be able to:
Explain what AI is, how it works and why it behaves the way it does — in plain language you can actually use
Know the difference between the AI tools your organisation has approved and the ones you should think twice about
Understand your data protection responsibilities and what good governance looks like when AI is involved
