COURSE:
House rules for accessible Word documents
ABOUT
This interactive session uses a house-building metaphor to show you how to create accessible Word documents from start to finish. You’ll learn how to:
• Structure documents using headings and styles
• Make tables, images, links, and colours work for everyone
• Apply metadata and PDF conversion best practices
• Avoid common pitfalls that make documents inaccessible
Through a live demo of fixing a “bad document”, you’ll gain practical skills you can immediately apply to your own work.
Additional content can be added on to focus on accessible writing if required.
